I didn't do the best job with application on this one - was probably not concentrating as much as I should have been - but it is a gorgeous, deep vampy plum, which to my eyes dries a little darker than the bottle, but like the rest of the range, has a gorgeous, smooth shiny finish, which you don't need top coat over. I actually have about seven bottles from this range now - perhaps I should do a swatch of them?
Over the top, I used a plate I had picked up ridiculously cheaply on my last order from Born Pretty Store but hadn't used yet. Having only used Bundle Monster and Konad so far, I am actually quite impressed with the quality for the price - seems to stamp cleanly for me (not that my stamping technique is the best). I used a Konad Special Stamping Polish in a bronzy colour - sorry, I don't know the names of my stamping polishes (well apart from black and white of course) - I grabbed a load when they were selling them for £2.00 each and the mini bottles don't have names on!
And I am rather excited - I am on a weeks leave from work and planning a trip to Ikea to get my very own Helmer! I don't have NEARLY enough to fill it, but hey - nothn' wrong with a little room to grow, is there?

This is a beautiful shade! I wish UK mail changed their policies... well, nope, there's nothing wrong in purchasing a helmer xD I have an Alex, an I love it!! I also love your stamping version very much :) Kisses

Thanks Cristina :-). I know, the Royal Mail policy is irritating, I don't know if other carriers have the same restrictions though? And I'm quite excited about the Helmer - getting it today hopefully!
DeleteI love the combination of dark purple and silver -- very dreamy and fantastical :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :-) The stamping polish looked more bronzey in the bottle, but gave quite a nice burnished silver effect
