From the OPI Mariah Carey Collection Spring 2013.
With moving job and home locations in the last year, and then acquiring a beautiful, but time consuming cocker spaniel puppy (Lottie, my pride and joy - you can see her on my profile pic), somehow OPI's Mariah Carey Collection Spring 2013 bypassed me.

I can't admit to being a huge Mariah fan, but when browsing a few blogs and seeing the swatches, I had to order myself a bottle of Sprung straight away! In some of the swatches I saw, it looked like it might be a darkish rose gold colour and I had to try it for myself, as I have been looking for a good rose gold for a long while (Orly Rage is commonly cited, but I thought it was a little pale - I must try it again soon).
Sprung is absolutely beautiful - not really a true rose gold as I had hoped, but hints of rose gold, yellow gold, copper and bronze all in one polish, packed full of fine glitter to result in a foil looking finish. It was sheer on first application, but builds up quickly - you could get away with two coats, but I used three in these pics as I had a hint of VNL. I've tried to capture all the ways it appears - sometimes gold, sometimes bronze and others more rosy, so apologies for the picture overload! Definitely one of those polishes that appeals to my inner magpie and a lovely autumn colour as well.
Orly Bonder base coat, 3 coats OPI Sprung, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.
